The summer before my freshman year, my mom called me while I was caddying. I’ll never forget her voice – shaking, crying, her thick Greek accent heavier than usual. “We lost the bar.”

My family had owned that bar since the late 1930s. Three generations. It wasn’t just a business, it was our identity. But a GM assembly plant nearby had closed. And in a single year, 90% of my parents’ customers disappeared. The market shifted. My family wasn’t ready. I was 17 years old, suddenly calling the mortgage company to negotiate forbearance, figuring out financial aid on my own, watching my dad drive a taxi and my mom waiting tables. That experience shaped everything that came after. I learned that when external forces shift the market, it doesn’t matter how good you were at the old game. You adapt or die. I’m watching history repeat itself right now in legal marketing. For over a decade, law firms built their client acquisition on SEO. Rankings meant visibility. Visibility meant cases. But the market has quietly shifted under us. Potential clients don’t search the way they used to. They prompt AI. And AI recommends firms based on signals SEO was never designed to optimize for.

We named this the AI VISIBILITY RESETIP.

And just like that GM plant closing, it’s happening whether firms are ready or not. Law firm leaders, from managing partners, administrators to marketing keep telling me the same thing: “Our digital and SEO strategy isn’t working the way it used to.”

That’s because visibility has changed. The firms that act now, that plant their flags inside these AI systems early, will be cemented into LLM recommendations for years to come.

The firms that wait will pay more and more, only to struggle to compete against those who moved first. I’ve seen this story before. I lived it. And I see the same window opening now that opened for SEO in 2014. The firms that moved first back then owned search results for a decade. The same opportunity exists today, for those ready to move.

That’s why we’re laser-focused on helping personal injury law firms navigate the AI Visibility Reset—so they’re recommended by AI at the exact moment someone is seeking guidance. We’ve spent 13+ years in personal injury marketing, generating $400M+ in revenue for law firms. We’ve seen what happens when you catch a wave early. And we see this wave building now.
